Cookie policy
Which cookies our website uses, what each one does, and how to change your choice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others help the business behind it understand how the site is used. Our website only saves the second kind if you choose Accept on our cookie banner.
Always on: remembering your choice
When you choose Accept or Reject, we save that choice in your browser (as tg-consent), so the banner does not ask you on every page. We ask again after about 6 months.
Only if you choose Accept
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
marketingUtm, marketingGclad, marketingReferralUrl | Toucan Glass | Remember the advert, search or website that brought you to us, so we can see which of our adverts work when you send us an enquiry. | 30 days |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Count visits and see which pages are used, without telling us who you are. | Up to 2 years |
_gcl_au and Google’s advertising cookies | Google Ads | Measure whether our adverts on Google lead to enquiries, and show our adverts to people who have visited us. | Up to 90 days |
If you choose Reject, none of these are saved, and any saved by an earlier Accept are deleted.
Videos and maps
Our videos come from YouTube and only load when you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Some pages show our location on Google Maps, which comes from Google. YouTube and Google may save their own cookies when you use them; their use is covered by Google’s privacy policy.
Changing your mind
Use Cookie Settings at the foot of any page to change your choice at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings.
More about how we use your information is in our privacy policy.
